Bugnosis is a software project developed by David Martin and founded by the Privacy Foundation at University of Denver. Its an Internet explorer add-on that detects the so called web bugs; 1x1px immages allowing third party websites (often adservers or web analytics firms)  to track users over networks of syndicated sites. With respect to some of its features and goals, I can consider it as a forefather of my cookiecensus project.
